sep 25: well i woke up to see the sun rise, from bed this am. this is by far the best site we've been to..clean baths and showers, breakfast at the sea this morning..too bad its over. so, i've got rving out of my system...anybody want to buy an rv?

sep24: well we landed at the Myrtle Beach Travel Park and got a campsite right on the beach..we look over e dunes and there is the ocean...this is amazing. we will be here for 2 days..AND there are no flies! we walked the bea h and swam in the ocean, then in the outdoor pool. it doesn't get any beter than this.

sep 23: still tring to find that perfect campsite...south of the border is NOT it! flies, flies and more flies..for two days we have been relegated to inside the camper due to flies outside. we also have them inside so we have a constant vigil to kill them as soon as they enter. leaving early and trying an oceanfront campsite on myrtle beach..they have 1100 campsites..wish us luck!

sep 22: staying at south of the border for a few nites..this campsite was highly recommended, but leaves a lot to be desired. we'll play around for a few days and then home...!

sep 22: we stopped for one night in Virginia in a campsite that was nearly destroyed by Irene. many trees down and damage. we are headed for South of the Border! we hear that it is a paved campgroung..my kind of camping..no dirt! we'll see...

sep 21: on our way to virginia after 3 nights in southern NJ. its geting warmer...lets see how VA treTs us. cant believe my time wi the kids is over for this trip..it aure was a lot of fun,

sep 19: weleft NY after spe ding time with all the kids and grands..couldn't be better. we drove the NYS Thruway to I287 and had a good trip around the xity..not too much traffic (Sunday) and went thru Princeton and several other small townships in NJ landing in Clarkaboro. it is warm, sunny and we will stay here 2-3 days to give Pop a rest from driving. keep on truckin'

sep 18: well we're heading out tomorrow am...27 degrees last night...unbelievable. its 93 degrees at home. smile! we aren't sure whether we will take a round a'bout way home to western NY and PA, or the way we came. avoiding the Rt 95 coridor. RV For Sale Cheap!

sep 15: oh so much rain..how do people in the north stand it..tonights temps in 30s..brrr. yesterday we had lunch with my brother and his wife on his birthday. he lives in AZ and just happens to be in NY same time as us. AND he came across country in an RV! we spent last night with Bigs and fam. a real shower and bed!!! we're back in RV tonight with cold temps. we went to VT today and stopped in cemetery for mom and dad. had lunch in old haunt we used to go to. good two days.

well we are in saratoga staying at the end of the earth..we has a wonderful time staying in billys driveway..and seeing new baby Luke and Bella. we'll be heree a week visiting bigs and fam, dave and carol and getting errands done at lake.

sep 9: spent last nite at matts in newmarket..the dog and i are not leaving..a real bed, real shower, floors, room to turn around...we are stayin. on or way to troy to see the new baby, lucas.

sep 6: took bob 3plus hrs this morning to dump, undo water and electric ans hook up hitch and brakes. it seems we have a short in lights in rv so when he puts on rv headlights, the jeep flasses red incessantly. coulc
dn't get sewage out of hose .. mmm so pleasant.had a mere 55 mile, 1.5 hr ride to ME today, but got lost multiple times and got lost on ME back roads. remember if a wrong turn is made, the rig cannot backup, so we drive untill we can find a full pull thru. got here 3 hrs later. nice campsite, settled in for 2 nights, although rain predicted for next 3 days.

will include a pic of kids and grands at b'fast on labor day.

last trip

sep 5: its mon and its raining today..had a thunder and lightning storm last night. here's what we've been doing. matt, linds and parker and paigie came friday night. we had a campfire and tons of eats. sat we went swimming with tne kids and had some wonderful familt time with kids..matt and linds went home to birthday party and we stayed in rv with kids. tons of fun on hayride, ice cream social, and eating in the dark. sunsay bigs and fam arrive all the way from ballston spa. matt made us lobsters for lunch ..he lives next door to lobstra man. matt cooked steak tips, jerk chicken, and tons of fruits and veggies. today we went to north conway and had an enormous breakfast with whole fam, will post picture. went to cathedral rock, into north conway and other special p,aces. rv is for sale...

sep 3: early report..had blueberries and pancakes w/bacon cooked outdoors by Matty. kids slept in RV.. both fell out of bed. tons of dirty dishes. going for nature walk around lake, then swimming in pool. kids are a ball! and, tomorroe..bigs and fam are coming to visit..yay!

sep 2: last day for driving we're here for 4days. kids show up tonight and sunday. bob backed into a tree bwhilr backing into camping space. tons of bugs sharing our site with us.love linin outside!

sep 1: another day on the road..starting in PA thru NY and into CT. roads are busy and rough..didn't The northeast get any stimulus bucks? took another shower in the mini shower/bathroom..cant turn around..either the front or the back gets clean..we'll switch tomorrow. bub got sewage on him when he tried to dump..makes you feel guilty for going to the bathroom. saw some flooding in CT. oh hum..

aug 31: long day today..only 350 mi but seemed like forever. i don't get this camping thing..drive all day in traffic..don't see anything and then get to campsite..rush to get dinner and a drink..fight off the no seems and mosquistoes..no TVNo Internet..so early to bed at 9|00??? what gives... we been thru SC, NC, VA, MD, WVA, and now in PA. see you later ronight!

aug 30 - hey..we are off. bad start..had problems with the brake lights on towed jeep. so after an hour of trying we drove to Ridgeland and got a mechanic to fix the problem..then it was 11:20 and we're just starting out. but no other problems and we are just outside of Fancy Gap, VA. and...its still daylight! stay tuned...

Aug 27 - sorry no post yesterday we were watching Irene go by us..just bouts of wind and rain, sunny today. We still plan on leaving Tues Aug 30 and head for Fancy Gap, NC. Bub has been at the RV fixing, cleaning, checking, etc. for days now. :)

Aug 24, 2011 - no go today as hurricane Irene is missing SC and hitting NC, NY, MA & ME, supposedly. We're sitting tight until we get clearance on the weather. Bub is working hard to get RV in shape to travel. I am stocking shelves with food in case we get lost in the wild!

 It's Tuesday August 23, 2011, Rving begins next week...unless Irene hits us sooner. Then, we'll take off early. We'll keep you all informed of our whereabouts...
